One of the things I value most about the Impactful Community is the quality of the conversations.

People take their time, and they say what they really feel. There is never any pressure to be polished or perfect.

That tone was very present at last week's First Birthday Summit…

Being in a room full of people who want each other to do well feels different.

That was the dominant feeling at the Impactful Community Birthday Summit. Warmth, generosity and an ease that comes from not having to perform. People showed up as they were, and spoke honestly about their work, their impact and the realities of running values led businesses.

For me, the day carried a sense of pride. Not in a polished or showy way, but in seeing something I have built with care being used and valued in the way it was intended.

A few weeks ago, during a conversation in my community, someone said something that led to a lot of nodding.

She was talking about networking and about values. About how, when you are clear on what matters to you, you tend to attract nicer people and people with the right intent. The kind of people you actually want to work with and build something alongside.

From there, the conversation shifted to the idea of value…

A love letter to my Impactful Community members…

I want to take a moment to publicly say thank you to my Impactful Community ❤️.

We’re just approaching our one-year mark (Tuesday next week is our ACTUAL birthday, in case you wanted to send a card 😜), and instead of focusing on growth, metrics, or anything that could be turned into a spreadsheet, I’ve been thinking about something else entirely - but you'd expect that from me, wouldn't you?!

Why people choose to show up here, and what it takes for them to do so.

Through our conversations, it’s become clear to me that nobody comes to this space out of obligation. They come because it feels safe enough to be themselves.

That doesn’t happen by accident - and it’s what I want to talk about.

The courage it takes to show up…

When I was invited to speak at The Impact Showcase, I was asked a simple question: “What impact have you had this year?” I knew immediately what I wanted to talk about. Not a project. Not a metric. A community.

Last December I decided to build the room I could not find. A place where bold, brilliant, values-driven women could come together without needing to perform or pretend. A place where your worth was not defined by your turnover or your audience size, but by the difference you make.

So I opened a Zoom room in January…
