6 things I want you to know about what I do for my clients

  1. If your work involves improving the lives and outcomes of children and young people in any way, I would like to work with you.

  2. I specialise in measuring, celebrating and maximising impact for people like you.

  3. I believe that impact is more than just counting numbers. For me, it’s about quantifying the things that appear a bit harder to measure: the difference that you make; the impression you leave; the value you create; or the change you inspire. These are the things that get me excited. And this is what I capture for my clients.

  4. I start by helping my clients to find a way to describe the change that they want to create. This gives them a neat and effective tool they can use to illustrate their programme or their activity, and it gives me something to base my research on.

  5. Next, I design the tools I need to gather evidence of that change taking place. Sometimes these are surveys or questionnaires, sometimes they are structured or unstructured interviews, workshops, focus groups or observation visits. And then I use these tools to find out as much as I can about the work you do to change children’s lives.

  6. Finally, I gather together all of this rich information and I use it to show the world the difference you make. I tell your story, the way you need me to, whether that’s through an article, a presentation, a case study or a more formal report.
